1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we receive basic profile information from your sign-in provider via Clerk — typically your name, email address, and profile photo. We also store:

• Palettes and gradients you bookmark or like
• Content you submit for community review
• Basic usage data to understand how the platform is used

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to operate and improve Tinta — including keeping your bookmarks and likes in sync, processing your submissions, and understanding which content resonates most with the community. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it to any third party.

3. Third-Party Services

Tinta is built on a small set of trusted third-party infrastructure:

• Clerk — handles authentication and session management
• Supabase — stores all platform data securely in the cloud
• Vercel — hosts and serves the web application

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data needed for them to function.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

Clerk uses cookies and local storage for session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems within a reasonable period. Submitted content that has been approved and made public may remain in the community library without attribution.

6. Your Rights

You can manage your saved content from your dashboard at any time. If you want a copy of your data or need it deleted entirely, contact us and we'll handle your request promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Tinta after changes means you accept the updated policy.
